Area53 includes a marketplace system that connects all players and serves as a central location for purchasing and selling properties and posting job postings for paid in-game chores. Although most of the properties traded on the marketplace are gained through in-game tasks, their quantity and quality are restricted. Additionally, properties acquired through the presale and concept sale are displayed. Other players will immediately bid or pay. All assets are considered deflationary due to their permanent loss in the regular course of economic activity. Unlike standard internet games, this asset-burning, deflationary system ensures that in-game assets are unique and limited.
